"Welcome back" Orientation and Planning Session

All staff and tenure-stream, sessional, and seconded faculty members. Graduate students who are able to attend are also invited.

Details

The morning will consist of a plenary session in room 310 devoted to a number of information sharing items including, for example, introductions of new and returning staff and faculty members, a review/report from me of the past year, a projection of opportunities/challenges for the upcoming year(s), and brief presentations from our graduate and undergraduate coordinators. As well, there will be an opportunity to discuss several items relating to new and emerging initiatives.

The afternoon will be devoted to various break-out sessions including, for example, information sessions for new secondments/faculty re: undergraduate courses; opportunities for Curriculum Area Chairs to meet with their groups. Following all of these wonderful meetings, at about 3:00 pm, you'll all be invited to join in one of our now famous EDCP Hallway Parties.
